The purpose of the Big Sound project was to create a promotional poster for the Big Sound Festival taking inspiration from a line of lyrics provided. The song given to us was D.A.F by Powderfinger and line of lyrics ‘keep filling up my eyes’ and the concept I chose to represent was the idea surrounding selfless consumption in order to suppress undying and undrownable emotions or experiences. That feeling of losing yourself momentarily only to realise the next morning that it was exactly that, momentary relief from the harsh and extremely bright light that is reality.
